Child Safety Standards (CSAE/CSAM Prevention)

Last Updated: May 1, 2026

Welcome to Clea. We are committed to fostering a safe, creative, and respectful community. We enforce a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding any content that exploits, endangers, or abuses children. These standards outline our commitment to preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) within our platform.

1. Zero-Tolerance for CSAE/CSAM Content

Clea explicitly prohibits the creation, upload, sharing, or facilitation of any content that constitutes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This includes:

  • Any visual or textual depiction of minors (under 18) engaged in sexual acts.
  • Content that visualizes the sexualization of children.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates child grooming or endangerment.

2. Community Guidelines

To maintain our child safety standards, all users must adhere to the following rules:

  • Respect Minors: All interactions must be free from inappropriate, suggestive, or exploitative behavior.
  • Report Instantly: If you encounter content that violates these standards, you are required to report it immediately via the in-app reporting tool.

3. Proactive Moderation

Clea uses a multi-layered approach to enforce safety:

  • Media Moderation: AI-based tools and human moderation review uploaded photos for safety indicators.
  • Content Fingerprinting: We utilize technology to detect and block previously identified CSAM.
  • Identity Accountability: Our monetization features require identity verification, deterring bad actors.

4. Reporting & Authority Notification

If Clea receives a verified report of CSAM, we take immediate action:

  • Immediate Removal: Violating content is removed instantly.
  • Account Suspension: Violators are permanently suspended and earnings are forfeited.
  • Law Enforcement Notification: We report all instances of CSAM to national authorities, such as the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in India.
