Welcome to Clea. Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use the Clea mobile application, including our Photo Sharing and Article Publishing services.
1. Information We Collect
To provide a rewarding and secure experience, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture via Google Sign-In or email.
- User-Generated Content: We host the photos and written articles you choose to upload.
- Content Hashing (Originality): To prevent plagiarism, we generate a unique digital signature (SHA-256 hash) for every article. This ensures content originality across the platform.
- Financial Information: We collect your UPI ID solely to process your revenue payouts.
- Usage Data: We collect device info and your Advertising ID (GAID) for personalized ads and fraud prevention.
2. Content Moderation & AI Detection
Clea uses automated tools to ensure a high-quality environment:
- AI Scanning: We use automated linguistic analysis to identify AI-generated content. Users are required to disclose if an article is AI-assisted.
- Under Review Status: Content flagged for potential copyright infringement or undisclosed AI patterns may be placed "Under Review," which may temporarily restrict its visibility and monetization.
3. Monetization & Revenue Sharing
Clea operates on a Transparent Revenue Sharing model. Only original and policy-compliant content is eligible for full rewards. Detailed interaction logs are maintained to calculate earnings accurately and prevent "invalid traffic" (fraudulent ad clicks).
4. Copyright & DMCA Policy
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement:
- Use the "Report" button located on the content in the app.
- Submit a formal DMCA notice to our legal team via the contact info below.
- Repeated infringers will have their accounts and earnings permanently terminated.
5. Biometric Security
All biometric authentication (Fingerprint/Face Unlock) is handled locally by the Android system. Clea never accesses or stores your biometric data.
6. Third-Party Services
We partner with trusted providers to power Clea:
- Google Firebase: Hosting, Authentication, and Article Storage.
- Google AdMob: Revenue generation through advertising.
- Cloud Moderation: Automated scanning for plagiarism and AI patterns.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
You may delete your articles, photos, or your entire account at any time via the App Settings. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our active production databases. Hashed signatures of deleted content may be retained briefly to prevent immediate re-uploading of plagiarized material.
